Additionally, central Florida’s Thoroughbred industry recently inked victory in state lawbooks. Pioneered by the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders’ and Owners’ Association (FTBOA), new legislation includes:
- approval of a non-profit Thoroughbred permit for Ocala/Marion County
- passage of the Breeder’s Flexibility Bill, allowing Florida’s horse industry to evolve with rapidly changing programs nationwide.
